2019/04/29 un:c ~Follow Me~ One-Man Live
May. 6th, 2019 12:23 amun:c’s Tokyo day for his one-man tour, at Tsutaya O-Crest! There was a cafe-themed afternoon performance, and then a night performance with the band. I was only able to go to the night performance ;-; KOOL was the surprise guest!
He started off with deriheru!! Super energetic, and the audience was very into it. It got us pumped right away! The the rest of the concert maintained that same energy, and it was so, so, so fun!! Of what I knew and remember, he sang nonsense bungaku, teo, reversible campaign, chururira, platonic girl, beast dance, and two ballads! For the first ballad, he talked about how it’s been quite a while that he sang it, and the meaning has changed for him as the years have gone by. It was very slow and emotional and I saw a bunch of people cry……. For the rest of the songs, he did a LOT of dancing and jumping and cheering, it was so fun watching him!! Everyone would scream every time he pointed at the audience and he’d wink at us too………. He was so cool….. For chururira, he turned around and did the little dance at the tail part, it was very cute. For beast dance, he did the gao gao parts sooo cutely!! and the audience followed suit. He did some really stylish kicks into the air and jumped SO HIGH at one part, I was really surprised! He also sang an original song which was also super high energy.
He came onto the stage wearing a jacket but as usually stripped from it like two songs in hahahha... he also tried to take off his necklace later on, but it got tangled with his headset and he spent a long time trying to get it free.... eventually staff came in to help and they worked at it together for a while before he just gave up and stood there looking into space while she untangled everything, it was cute....
When he was announcing the special guest, he said that last year’s was Kradness, but he likes to change it every year so it’s not him this year! And he called out…! KOOL!! People had already started changing their penlights to blue before he even said his name LOL but it made sense seeing as he just uploaded their collab! KOOL came bouncing out, equally as energetic, and they talked about how they did lives together way back and always wanted to do a collab, but never got around to it until now! It was put together so quickly, they wanted to travel back to their past selves and ask what on earth they were doing that they couldn’t find time to record lol.
They got us to put away the lightsticks (KOOL accidentally called them glowsticks and they laughed) and then sang that upload (Cycle?) and then tokyo teddy bear! KOOL said he likes lightsticks but sometimes he wanted to see all the audiences’ faces~ They got us to cheer a whole bunch and there was a group on the right side who were SO LOUD omg we kept laughing every time they screamed. They both got sooo close to the audience at points and gave a bunch of people high fives!
While they talked together, KOOL gave un:c a wristband! I think it was his personal merch? un:c told us that whenever he guests or visits he always gives merch and that he’s such a nice guy…… Then KOOL said that he went to one of un:c’s previous performances and saw that he was wearing his merch and started to cry :’) un:c said that since he knew he was going to watch he made sure to wear it.
After a few more solos, we took pictures, un:c talked a little, and then.... concert ended? During that last MC portion, he was talking as if there was no encore, but never outright said there wouldn’t be one, so when the lights in the audience came on everyone seemed a bit confused? I looked around for a while and was about to leave, but some people slowly started cheering for an encore so I stayed and cheered too. He eventually jumped out holding a mini coke bottle and looking soo surprised and happy, and said that there really isn’t supposed to be an encore today for various reasons, but he was very happy we asked for one! He asked staff if there was time for one more song, and then called the band out. All of the band and KOOL walked out carrying cans of beer LOL they had already started partying....... un:c asked KOOL if there was anything he wanted to sing, and KOOL brought up something on a screen? Or sheet music? And un:c was like, OH if you want to sing this, then I want to see it! I’ve never seen you sing this before! They discussed which parts to do (KOOL was like, we’ll go by feeling *sparkles*) and sang platonic girl once more for us! KOOL tried to take gulps of his drink right in the middle LOL. With that last song, the performance was finished!
I went to pick up some merch and got exactly the badge I wanted!! I was in such a daze from how good the concert was that I wasn’t really thinking when I was ordering everything but I made sure to get the water bottle, which is super cute!
