NORISTRY’s one-man performance in Yokohama!

✦ this was a really new venue!! Bigger than the last place he used, and had a small raised viewing area. There was also a higher viewing area, where a lot of his guests were!! people kept looking up there before the performance started to try to identify attendees lol…. it looked like ikasan might have been there
✦ restaurant ambience noises was played while we waited
✦ as usual, he had the ska band with him!!! he did a lot of jazz arrangements of songs and it was all so good omfg
✦ There were spotlight projections onto the ceiling in like flower and star shapes it was really cute….. in the back was a massive screen, on which they put nice backgrounds to match each song! it was really pretty
✦ he was in a full suit outfit and looked super good and neat…. it got pretty hot at the venue though so he took the jacket off about halfway through
✦ he started with call boy AHHHHHH i've wanted to hear his sing it live since he uploaded it so i was super pleased
✦ he sang a lot of songs i knew!! hit you with this piano, calc, shoujo rei, rain stops goodbye, jazz arranges of nonsense bungaku and fixer
✦ he sang his originals too!! he was so cute during them!!! especially for sing, which was near the end! he sang very loosely for that song and seemed so cute and happy and relaxed
✦ he told us he likes napolimen a lot because they remind him of when he used to mess around with his friends as a student so he sang a jazz arrangement of one of their songs!! it was really good
✦ he talked about how he generally sings for himself, and that's what he's been doing for the past few years, but as he's been doing performances and seeing how people smile (or CRY) from his singing, he's started to sing a little for other people as well
✦ he said he really loves weddings, and some listeners have said they wanted him to sing at their weddings, but he said it was impossible LOL we were like ehhhhh……. (he said we don't know his address) he said the next song is for all of our future weddings
✦ he also sang pretender after that~

Encore
✦ when he left the stage, the announcement video for his next one-man started playing!! we were all so surprised! then, he came out again and was like….. uh…….. well that wasn't supposed to play yet LOL
✦ so we didn't even get to cheer for the encore LMAO he called out the band members to join him and we took the group photos!
✦ he said that his mom came to see him today, and she's basically the reason he started singing at all, because whenever he did he'd see her smile proudly and thought, "wow, so singing can make people smile"
✦ he sang a ballad for her and made everyone cry…………………..
✦ finally, he sang one more song for his aunt, who passed away….? there was a really pretty falling snow-like background behind him
✦ when i left the venue nero was standing at the corner next to the door?! i had to double take and whipped my head around at him LMAO it seemed he was waiting for someone else…. while i was getting my drink afterwards he made his way through the crowd to a few surprised faces while nodding at us and disappeared through the staff doors

HE WAS SO CUTE THE ENTIRE TIME and his vocals were amazing as usual….. he really reaches your soul I LOVE HIM ;-;

I went to the last day of C97 Winter Comiket! I went to see AsEver (ASK, Aomofu, Yumamiya, Kyi), Atelier Malletto (Asamaru, Jack, Yumamiya, Tourai, Keito, Tama, and the rest of asamack family), un:c and Araki, and NORISTRY! I also went to pick up some things for a friend at Hydamio and Naryo’s tables.

✦ We got to West Hall 4 at around 10:30? and went straight to AsEver’s table, who were already pretty busy! yumami and aomofu were running the front of the table, while ASK was in the back handling the actual goods! He was still efficient as always….. He looked like a blur LMAO
✦ nobita from At. Malletto was managing their line, wearing both ask’s t-shirt and the at.mal hoodie~ AsEver and at.mal were right next to each other, sharing a table, so it was a really neat setup!
✦ asamaru was nearby managing at.mal’s line for some reason?! other staff were handling the table, and one was the really pretty lady i saw at their event from last time
✦ I ended up in aomofu’s line! i had a LOT of stuff to get omg and I almost forgot to hand them Linn’s letters…… I told them they were from my friend in Singapore and aomofu was like Oh!! and probably knew immediately who i was talking about LOL…. I feel like I also heard ASK exclaim in reaction in the background
✦ Aomofu had red streaks in her hair and was wearing a hat~ ASK was also wearing his blue hat, and both of them were in quite light-coloured clothes? I don’t remember what yumamiya was wearing at all…………….. I want to say it was the white and black (?) striped t-shirt he wore to CGS but I really don’t remember because my brain was rushing like hell

✦ Then, I picked up the full sets from At.Malletto!! asamaru was so far from the actual line for some reason (their line hadn’t picked up yet at this time) so i went to him to confirm and he was really cute LOL he was also in the at.mal hoodie~
✦ The coasters are absolute GORGEOUS they’re porcelain and the illustrations are so delicately pretty!!! It didn’t occur to me at the time but i really should have gotten more than one set of them for myself ;o;
✦ Tourai wasn’t there when I went, but apparently he was there for a bit in the afternoon!

✦ Next stop was un:c and araki! araki’s hair was SO dark PINK he was basically glowing??? their table was very easy to find because of him. he and unc were both wearing caps, and i think black t-shirts? Their line was also pretty short and i ended up on unc’s side of the line~
I had been so rushed I had totally forgotten to ask for a handshake from anyone i saw, but I got to blurt out a “have a happy new year!!” to un:c and he smiled big (even through his mask) and said it back to me!! floats away
✦ it totally didn’t register in my mind until way later when i got to sit down and reflect on my meetings but un:c was in glasses………… We ended up going back into the hall to walk by them again so I could confirm it and he really was so i had like a mini-breakdown as hisame egged me on even further o|-<

✦ I actually wanted to check out glutamine’s table because he was so cute last time but i totally forgot in the scramble…. he was right next to un:c’s table though apparently

✦ My trip to NORISTRY’s table was really really quick…. he was in a t-shirt as well! There was only one person in front of me and I only needed the CD
✦ his CD was a weird price so i had to fish for coins for a bit in a panic but they thanked me for giving exact change so it was probably alright LOL
✦ I think I totally could have talked to him but I hadn’t thought of anything beforehand and i was still in RUSH MODE

✦ At Hydamio’s table, the line was a little confusing but I ended up getting to him pretty quickly as well! he was actually standing to the side, so there was no table between him and the customers? He like immediately recognised that I was a foreigner somehow, so I told him, yes, i was, and he was so excited LOL he kept trying to speak English to me!!
✦ I handed him linn’s letter, and told him it was from my friend Linn from Singapore. He was like oh!!! and said something about English? I think it might have been about her being a translator lol
✦ I had a shopping list that I was referring to and he made to like take it from me to help but I still wasn’t really thinking so I just quickly listed out everything to him. When I said I wanted a postcard he seemed a little surprised and happy?? He said to say thank you to my friend. When he handed me everything he said thank you in english to me like 5 times it was very cute LOL

✦ I also went to naryo and victream’s table and got the wrong CD for linn LMAO……….. It was also a very quick visit so I don’t remember much here either
✦ We also went to check out Royal Scandal’s table at the J line but they weren’t selling what hisame was looking for so we ended up not lining up….
✦ We retreated outside so i could organise and pack the crazy amount of shit i bought, then went back in to take a look at everyone again from afar HAHAHA…….. the lines for everyone were really starting to build…. un:c and araki’s line had to be cut in half and put somewhere else
✦ When we returned outside to meet Yuu, we noticed just how many AsEver fans were gathered around the area LOL it seemed like a mini fanmeet
✦ We ended up having to make a loop back through the hall to exit Big Sight, so Yuu went back to get things from AsEver! Their line seemed to have calmed down a lot, and aomofu was probably on a washroom break because ASK was helping out at the front
✦ I considered lining up for un:c’s table again because shut up……... i even went to the back of the line but I really didn’t have anything else to get….. we also had karaoke reservations to get to, so I decided against it and we left~




The Haul

This was NORISTRY’s mini one-man, with guest Nayugorou! This was an acoustic performance, with wing playing the piano. I went to both performances.

• It was at a very small venue, with about 30 people? They would walk past us to get to the stage and nayugorou said it was awkward LOL
• They swapped in and out quite a few times!! They both did some solos and duets
• Songs i remember: shoujo rei, mata ne ga areba, aiko’s kirakira, uchiage hanabi
• I think betsu no hito no kanojo ni natta yo was also sung
• The setlists were slightly different between the afternoon and night performances
• Nori came down for the second performance covering his mouth because he was chewing something, and later revealed that it was tapioca pearls hahahaha
• He said he always gets his guests to sing one CHEMISTRY song, and he tries to match each guest to a song that suits them most
• Despite having such a gentle voice, nayugorou’s live singing is really steady and powerful! She’s really good
• She tends to look up while singing, whereas nori looks down
• She said she tends to like more straightforward songs about feelings, rather than complicated ones with hidden meaning
• Nori told us about the CHEMISTRY secret fanclub meeting that he applied for, and that the results were out today but he was too scared to check
• We told him to check, so he did, but he didn’t win the tickets ;-;
• Hilariously enough though the next song was mata ne ga areba
• He also showed us the Sing MV!! on the screen behind him. We kept making sounds when he was being cute in the video, which was often

• After the performance was time for merch sales and polaroids!
• I went to nayugorou first, and ended up getting a polaroid with her~She looked at me and was like, “This is our first time meeting, isn’t it?” I guess he recognises most of her regular listeners……. I ended up explaining that I’m not from Japan, so my language skills weren’t the best LOL
• She asked me what pose we should make for the picture, and told me that she usually does the bear pose! So I went with that. She asked for my name and signed it~ She was so cute
• I got a picture with nori as well! We did a peace sign
• The polaroids always fascinate me because some people come up with the wildest poses….. One girl had nori step on her it was great

I went to Underbar Fes at Club Citta!! Performers were Underbar, Shijin, Nero, NORISTRY, Ikasan, Morudeo, Yutori, Zuzu, Kradness, Tarachio, Kony, and Alfakyun!

They gave us a little badge at the start~



Before the performance began, they played underbar's originals while we waited and so many people sang and danced along!! It seemed like they were having a lot of fun..... Underbar's fans always come off to me as so pure and enthusiastic lol

The performance started with an original song from underbar!! It's the first time I've gotten to see him with his backup dancers. He was super cute! Shijin came out to join him, acting like? a knight? servant…? They both left, and a small video (close to his usual hand-drawn style) came up, explaining the situation. Underbar wanted to bring a bunch of people to his planet, so he chose people he often ate out with. Now they're trapped on his planet and need to sing to get out!! The audience played the part of residents of his planet.

The first pair to come out were Ikasan and Alfakyun! They spent mc making big deal out of being trapped, and then ikasan went to sit at the front right corner of the stage to watch fakyun's solo performance, where she sang Rettou Joutou!!! Energetic right of the bat. She then changed places with Ikasan, who sang plus danshi!! Ikasan kept pulling fakyun onto the middle stage to participate and it was clear it wasn't planned LOL but they looked like they were having so much fun.... They then dueted Charles~

Next pair was NORISTRY and Nero! They renamed everyone with underbar world names (○○daba). Nero sang Renai Philosophia (incredible lung capacity wtf), and Nori sang a breathtaking tobacco..... You could feel the pure awe from the audience when he was done, it was really incredible. They dueted something together as well, with nori being excited about it as always :')

Kony and Kradness were after them. Their mc part was so ENERGETIC they were talking so fast and loudly?! Kradness said kony was a year older than him, so he should go first. He sang the jazz arrangement of Mr. Music!! It was super nice to see him singing again~ since he's always so busy with work..... Kradness did his duet, then they did U.S.A. together!! Kradness mostly danced along (i'm sure he's experienced by now) but kony looked at him and shook his head like NO WAY;; lolll i would have loved to see him do it too though

Tarachio and Zuzu screamed SO MUCH OMFG they were so funny!! I barely had any idea what was going on but it was a total blast. Zuzu kept wondering why on earth he was invited when he's a let's player, but he was so good!! he sang? one of his own songs? I'm not actually sure but it was definitely a gag thing… He had the lyrics appear up in a video, and it was funny stories from his school days or something. It was so fun to watch…. Tarachio sang a normal rock song but with such incredible POWER he was very cool!!

Morudeo and Yutori were also really good, but I don't remember what exactly they sang anymore ;-; They also had an incredible amount of energy, though.

Last performer to come out was shijin, alone!! He was acting super weird, still talking strangely and acting like he was part of planet underbar, but then he stopped halfway and faced us, saying "What on earth am I doing….." He sang two solos, one being an original (!!) , then underbar joined him for their freedom version of shinde shimau to wa nasakenai~

At some point, the rest of the cast came out from the left side of the stage! Shijin tells them there's a quiz they have to do to get off the planet, and then underbar pushes him in with the group and tells him he's part of it too LOL. The first 7 questions are personal questions about underbar, like what juice he likes, how many people are in his family etc. The audience immediately started making signals for the performers LOL but the questions got harder and harder as they went on….. It was so chaotic on stage because the entire group was loud as hell, yelling and talking amongst each other. Alfakyun, NORISTRY, and ikasan were in the front so I got most of their banter. At one point, fakyun was trying to hint at what was being censored in one of the questions (a store name) and nori completely couldn't get it, so he turned slowly to ikasan, who loudly exclaimed "Don't look at me!! I have no idea!!!". Another question that was super entertaining was about how much alcohol underbar could take: A. 1 drink (>_<) ← cute!! B. 3 drinks C. 5 drinks D. [something about not knowing his limit yet] They were surprisingly lower volume for this question, until alfakyun said that they Definitely know the answer to this question, because they Know him. And if the answer is different, that means he's a LIAR. He kind of had an 'oh shit' expression on his face at that, which was super cute. They all voted for D, but the answer that came up was…. A!!!!! They all went to mob him on the other end of the stage, yelling and pretending to kick and punch him. He shoo'd them away and made the excuse that the people "behind" chose the answer and they all started yelling again LOL The 8th and 9th questions didn't seem to have anything to do with him and I barely understood them haha;; one was a history question. The last question was worth an extraordinary amount of points: "How is underbar feeling right now?" The answer turned out to be the unlisted answer E, so everyone lost and couldn't go home!! They all ran off and there was a 20 minute break.

The first pair to return to the stage were…. NORISTRY and alfakyun!! they came out from opposite ends, and nori kept calling himself "noridaba". They pretended to fight, and then fakyun did her solo! it was immediately followed by nori's solo, and then they sang A Whole New World (in English!!) together. They were really good….. Nori adds a lot of singing to his songs, so she followed suit and the surprise on his face was so great!! Their expressions as they watched the other singer hit those notes were fantastic.

Next were nero and kony!! nero kept calling kony mama, so the audience followed suit, but then he turned to us suddenly and looked at us very intensely, saying "I'M KONY". They did their solos (I remember kony's being a jazz arragement of karakuri pierrot), and then dueted a ballad! Kony actually lifted nero off the ground and carried him over his shoulder off the stage?! Everyone screamed…..

Next, kradness and ikasan came out running and screaming from opposite sides of the stage. Kradness said he'd sing a song a little unusual for him: Otome Kaibou! I don't remember their duet u_u They're both so tall they matched, in a weird way. Lastly, the group of let's play guys came out together and everyone was losing it!

Morudeo, Yutori, Tarachio, and Zuzu. They were complete chaos on stage, and couldn't stop laughing, especially zuzu. They said they wanted to keep the mood of all the pretty ballads, so yutori was going to sing one as well! the three others left the stage, and he went to stand in the middle. As the song started, he laughed into the first lines, and the music stopped and the group stormed back onto the stage, screaming at him. He blamed zuzu for laughing so much beforehand, and when they were done harassing him they left again and he safely sang the ballad properly. Following up after him was morudeo, also with a ballad! His went normally, but the beginning was acapella and I was really impressed by how confidently he sang it….. When he was done, they made zuzu sing a solo, with tarachio standing behind on stage to monitor him. It…. was not a ballad at all LOL and tarachio had so many tsukkomi parts….. It was absolutely hilarious though, he's so good at making people laugh!! The other two returned, saying that he ruined the mood they created HAHA.

Shijin then joined them, waving his sheet of lines in front of his face as he read them off, and they all yelled at him to remember his lines properly HAHAHA. They sang deriheru together!! They were so high-energy and were jumping all over the place! morudeo ended up taking off his jacket at some point because of that. It was super fun…… They ran off to the left of stage, with shijin kind of doing some kind of crabwalk shuffle as the last to leave…… Then they appeared again and ran through the middle props because apparently they went the wrong way LOL

Lastly was underbar's part!! He sang two originals solo, and was adorable as always~ He sang roki with fakyun, and panda hero with kradness and ikasan!! They did his freedom version, which surprised even him!! He seemed really happy about it ;v; He finished with, of course, Kochira, Koufuku Anshin Iinkai desu! He said that since we're all from his planet, we should all know what to do, but juuust in case, he wanted to tell us how to do the actions! (basically everyone really did know though LOL) The rest of the cast came out behind him in a line as he sang, and all did the saikou desu!! They finished with Bokura no Festival, which was so fun live?! They danced a lot, especially nori and ikasan! Nori and nero would also step out of line and look straight at each other for their harmony parts….. It was fun singing along, too! When they finished, they said goodbye and filed off stage.

The encore chant is so cute!! The audience all says "underbar wa saikou desu!" They returned and sang yi er fanclub together~ For the HOO HAA punching motions, fakyun and kony would turn to punch nero, who was between the two of them. Fakyun also ran over to the other side of the stage to put her arm around ikasan's shoulder for some reason? Cute.

For their last words, a lot of them talked about how they were younger (many students!!) listening to ansan and looking up to him. Fakyun declared that she loved him with that completely straight face of hers, and then punched him for real. She missed the first time and like punched his ribcage LOL. Zuzu was last, and did some sort of gag which tarachio filmed on his phone….. Underbar was completely blank-faced at it, and asked him to do it again, so the audience started cheering for it as well. He did a completely different gag, and then was asked to do one more?! They were all great though LOL and then he turned around and blamed tarachio for having to do so many.

This fes was a gathering of such high energy people!!! I laughed so much, and they put on an amazing show. I hope underbar continues to hold this every year, it was so fun!!

I went to i-STAR FES in Shibuya! This event is spread across many different venues and features many many different performers from niconico. Due to time and venue capacity, I had to make some difficult decisions on who I wanted to see… Here was my schedule for the day!



un:c had kradness as a guest. For the special collaboration stage, the performers were taruchio/morudeo, taruchio/ajikko, ankler/fenikuro, piko/kradness, and piko/alfakyun feat. SLH! Gero’s guests were glutamine and alfakyun.



NORISTRY Stage
I didn’t go early enough to get into the venue for nori…… Instead, I ended up in the TV viewing area outside in the bar. His audience was quite mixed, and you can tell they are all so endeared to him…. We were all amazed that he filled up so quickly, and our outside area was very full as well;; He sang fixer, otome kaibou, tobacco, shoujo rei, inochi ga kiwareteiru, and roki!! A godly setlist tbh. Everything was absolutely amazing but tobacco in particular really took our breath away….. It was so emotional and I almost even cried myself, he was so powerful!! After the song ended there was silence, and then the guy beside me murmured “this guy is really amazing” I’M SO PROUD OF HIM….. he really is amazing live, and so adorable!!! His actions on stage are so cute and everyone always reacts with joy to anything he does. Shoujo rei also made me very happy, because I really love that song. I head he did the ballad version at MUSICARA later that night, but I really do like the original the most….. For inochi ga kiwareteiru, he said it was his first time singing it and was very nervous. He did end up forgetting some parts but he pushed through and still sounded very good!! Ending with roki, he did those growls amazingly! He also tried to take selfies during that part, cutie. My goodness I wasn’t even in the venue and I was still blown away by his entire performance. He ended by laughing and telling us that he’d be at the audition stage, then skipped off stage.

After having to wait outside for nori, I was very nervous about all the others I wanted to see, so I tried to head to the others as early as possible. I quickly picked up gero’s treasure tour bracelet (which I had wanted but couldn’t afford during the actual tour (;-;)9) and an i-STAR FES T-shirt, then headed over to see un:c!

un:c stage
This was my first time seeing un:c outside of XYZ!! While waiting for the performance to start, we could hear him and the band practising a little behind the closed curtains. I don’t know the title of the first song he sang, but it was a nice rock tune. I was also happy to see pasta there, in the band! un:c talked to us a little bit, introduced himself, and said he wasn’t going to do his usual thing because there’s probably many people watching that don’t know him too well and it wouldn’t be a good first impression of him. Everyone went EHHHHH but he insisted he wouldn’t say it. He sang platonic girl and taught us the motions for the stop/sit down parts! His way of talking to the audience is very cute…. He also did two duets with kradness! One of the songs was Deriheru Yondara Kimi ga Kita and they taught us the song actions as a team! They talked about how long they’ve known each other and stuff as well. They really seem to get along well…... Kradness was wearing a really cute sporty/baggy outfit that suits his frame a lot…. after that song, kradness left the stage, and un:c sang some more solos. It think one was shiwa? He also talked to the audience again and eventually was cheered into doing his sex schtick by the audience, but he said it so embarrassed it was very cute. Also, pasta laughed so incredibly loudly when he said “sex” omg. He then got all the band members to introduce themselves. He said he had another duet to do, and we all went OOOH??!! and kradness stepped out again!! he came out like, “wow it’s been a while everyone!! how are you!! your faces seem so familiar!!” They sang a honeyworks song which they uploaded last year? Then to end, un:c sang chururira chururira dadada! It was super fun. He took off his jacket at some point and looked very cool….. He also danced a lot and shook his butt it was so cute lol

Special Collab
I stayed in the venue for the special collab! It got really crowded, probably from all the various fans and the people camping for monopale who were next. Tarachio and morudeo sang a song I didn’t know at all, but it was super energetic and a lot of fun! Then morudeo swapped out of the stage with ajikko and they sang that fighting dreamers song, which was also super fun! Ankler and fenikuro sand rain stops, goodbye and it was very pretty. Piko and kradness sang platonic girl, then kradness left and alfakyun came onto stage wearing the same patterned cardigan as piko?! Apparently they just happened to buy the same thing. They talked a bit (their chemistry is sooo good) and then called out SLH!! they gave the mic to karasu to speak and everyone kept shouting that he was cute :’) they also called piko cute, but then fakyun pointed at him and was like “hai, busuuu” They sang roki with SLH dancing next to them!! I was really pleased to see SLH because I had to miss them to see nori at the start. I love their choreo for roki a lot…. Thus ends this stage.

Underbar stage
Underbar is another one of those guys who is just universally adored!! He started with gigantic OTN and then yi er fanclub! Of course, those were his usual freedom versions, but then he did a ballad very seriously and sounded really lovely! He talked to us for a bit and asked who was seeing him for the first time. A bunch of people in the front row raised their hand and he was like, “It’s your first time? Wh-why do you have all that merch--”. He then taught us the actions for the next two songs! First was for kochira koufuku anshin iikai desu, which everyone knew right away hahaha. He was surprised and said, “wow!! it’s become famous, good!” He sang a song I didn’t know with the actions he just taught us, and then ended his performance with kochira koufuku anshin iikai desu. He really was so cute and an amazing performer.

ROOTFIVE stage
They opened with proto disco!! Kettan’s rap really is good……. I don’t know the rootfive songs very well but they were all really nice! There was a cat one… and they did nyan nyan motions. I know they do a lot of dancing but it still surprises me every time I see them dance LOL they were really good!! mi-chan especially did some unexpectedly good body rolls. They had a lot of time for mc portions, and spent a lot of it talking about others lmaoo. They asked if we had seen kony around (I didn’t see him all day u_u) and kettan said he was probably sitting on a chair somewhere… they discussed how they’re so concerned he’ll just drop dead one day and continued on for a bit before moving onto their next target, dasoku. They talked about how they were “missing” a member and that kawamura-san sings roki and charles every day at home and we all laughed a lot at that. They also discussed how mi-chan is so into tennis. Someone asked him if he liked tennis or singing more, and he spent a long time thinking before he answered that it depends on the day and that they’re so different it’s hard to compare. He considers tennis more of a hobby that isn’t associated with work, and asked the others if they had anything else like that. I don’t remember koma’ns answer, but kettaro’s answered pretty quickly with mahjong. They then turned to pokota and called him ojisan, then said his hobby was definitely collecting rakuten points. Apparently he’s really amassed a lot of points?! The way the discussed how he’d constantly be collecting them and what he’d use the points for was really amusing. They closed with merry go round!

Megatera Zero Stage
I wanted to get a god spot to see gero and didn’t realise until rootfive ended that megatera zero would still be performing in the stage gero would be at. I didn’t know him well but decided to check it out anyways, and he turned out to be really amazing! He just ended a song and was talking a bit when I walked in. He asked if anyone had birthdays today or tomorrow, then told them to stay where they were and that he’d go see them later?! He then sang this birthday song that was really sweet, and jumped off the stage in the middle and ran to each person and gave them hugs!! There were about 5 people, and first guy was right next to me so I was really surprised when he came charging in to embrace the guy. I thought that was super cool of him….. He also sang Deriheru Yondara Kimi ga Kita! His performance was very much rock style, so I had a lot of fun! He’s got a super powerful voice and seems very comfortable on stage.

Gero stage
Last stage for the night! Again, the band and singer were practising a little behind the curtains before the start. People started singing along, and when they were finished you could hear gero saying “mmm it’s a good song” and half talking to the audience, cute.
They opened with his usual starting music, which I wasn’t expecting! He sang roki, outsider, nonsense bungaku, beloved survival, udon, and the six little bandits! The duets were akane-chan with glutan and something I’m not familiar with, with fakyun. In the middle of one of his mc portions, a girl in the very front seemed to have collapsed and needed help. When staff went over to her, gero also noticed and stopped what he was doing to ask if she was ok! He looked very concerned but still joked around a little. He asked if she drank any water a few times, and told us all that we need to take care during such long events. He then turned back to her and said, “Are you REALLY okay? Do you have water? Did you eat? …What’s your favourite food? [pause] ….. Mine is fried rice.” and we all laughed. He continue talking and waited until she got up and said she was ok before moving onto the next song ;v; a sweetheart! For nonsense bungaku, he wanted us to “dance” in a weird way by pumping both arms up and down?? and then he turned to pasta and tried to get him to do it and pasta was like, “pls not everyone in this audience knows me you not give them a weird impression”. He asked if anyone’s introduced the band yet and pasta said that un:c did it earlier, but since that was so long ago gero decided to have them introduce themselves again! Then, he called glutamine on stage and he came out “dancing” and everyone cheered. He had to charge over from his own solo stage, which ended just 5 minutes before gero’s started! Gero said that he told glutan that if he can’t make it in time it’d be ok lol. They talked about singphonight and I guess they sang akanechan there too?? They were very energetic and it was a fun performance. Then he sang with alfakyun, who was also super energetic! I really enjoy her dry humour. They yelled a lot in their song too and it really pumped us up! All his solos were also really good, as usual!! I had soooo much fun, especially with bandits at the end!

And that’s all for i-STAR fes! I didn’t try any of the collab food but piko and nori’s had sold out fairly early in the day… There were times when other performers would pass by as I was on my way to another venue. I even saw akatin with some friends, even though he wasn’t a performer! There was a board where you could write a message on a cute hot air balloon sticker and stick it there, and it had a whole bunch of messages from so many different fans! It was a really cool event and it was nice to see so many people sing in one day.

An event for 20+ attendees to drink and listen to utaite sing through the night!! Hosted by Kony again, this time the lineup was alfakyun, irei ryou (rairu), clear, Nero, koma’n, Kettaro, NORISTRY, and Mary! Utamaro, eMu, shack, and Nayugorou started off the “session” part of the event, after the main performances. It got pretty wild as everyone got more and more drunk but we got to see a lot of collaboration and it was super fun!!

I really don’t remember the first hour much;; That was when all the legit performances were done. As the event began, all of the main cast got on stage right away. It seems some of them had already been drinking before the event started! 

• Alfakyun in particular kept talking about drinking
• Cleanero did digitaliser
• KETSUKOMA were in sunglasses and hawaiian shirts and said something about coming back from California? I didn’t really understand what they were talking about but they were pretending to have an american accent
• KETSUKOMA did what i think was a rootfive song? They danced as they sang and were super good… 

After all those performances, everyone filed onto the stage with drinks in hand! alfakyun was carrying two cups and everyone laughed at her. Kony talked a bit to lead up to the KANPAI but rairu had already nearly finished his drink during that time LOL so fakyun gave him one of hers! We all cheers’d and then there was a break for everyone to get drinks. This is where it gets pretty messy, so I think a lot of what I remember isn’t chronologically correct!!

About half the audience broke from the front of the stage to head for the bar, so i followed along! Outside in the bar area, some of the performers were already mingling. I remember Kony and rairu for sure…. there was kind of a buzz at one point and i turned around to see [redacted] right behind me!! they were being pushed along by fakyun and I think they had one other person in their party? I grabbed a drink and headed back to the stage floor, which had cleared out so much that I ended up getting pretty close!

The session starter crew came in with their drinks and sang a song together as a group, with fu-rin and wing left of the band members. Each of them were going to do solos! I don’t remember who was first, but apparently that group song was what he was intending to sing solo so he had to find something else on the fly hahaha. They ended up pulling out an ipad to help everyone look for songs/lyrics/scores as they sang. One of them sang shoujo rei, which I love a lot, so i was really pleased! I *think* it was eMu? Nayugorou was last (she lost at rock scissors paper and still walked onto stage at first until eMu complained lol). She sang a lovely Metronome and was kind of staggering around because she was already pretty drunk haha

After their performances, they asked if anyone in the audience wanted to come up and sing but only the really drunk people were yelling LMAO so wing said she might be able to get a special guest, if they’re still around!! I don’t know if they’re allowed to be named since another person that ends up singing later on very clearly asked us not to say anything about them performing…… so….. After a few moments [redacted] appeared on the stage, surprising me and the rest of the audience!! They sang 3 rock songs (senbonzakura!!) at full power and was like, “Isn’t this basically a one-man live?!”. There was kind of a commotion behind me and I turned around to nero almost right behind me!! He was cheering and waving his arms around for [redacted] like a fangirl, and then they walked off stage and he was like “huh….? It’s over already???” and looked soo heartbroken LOL….. Some others took the stage: clear, who sat in a chair, and I think nori and rairu? nero kept waving at those two and making hearts….. Then clear went “eh? where’d nero go?” and everyone around me immediately pointed to him hahahahaha I think? they sang? and many people started swapping in and out after that!!

• One guy that said he was koma’ns drinking friend hopped on stage and nearly did a comedy routine?? he was very energetic! his singing voice was really amazing too!! he sang with two or three others, while koma’n was in the back of the audience area somewhere. 
• koma'n ended up coming onto the stage with a group of others, but i really needed to pee so i left for a bit! Outside, I saw that a bunch of the performers were just hanging around talking to attendees/friends. I remember seeing Nayugorou in particular, pretty close to the doors. When i got back, I was surprised to see [redacted] on stage with the group that had walked on when I left!!! They had already finished singing and were wrapping up, but I was there in time to see them give a gigantic smooch on the cheek to someone (rairu??) to thunderous cheering.
• Mary, who had looked pretty nervous for most of the day, showed up at some point and nero got her to sing a very cute kataomoi solo!!
• Kettaro was pulled into the stage at another point and I think he sang with someone else?
• Kony sang marunouchi sadistic with a group!!
• fakyun dueted Hit You 8759632145 Times With This Piano with someone! That person said he thought of a song to sing and told us, “it’s the song wing hates”
• while someone else was singing, kony did a tequila shot to lots of cheers
• With the exception of wing, most of the band members were swapping in and out, so a lot of the performers ended up taking over the intruments!! especially all the percussion LOL mary seemed to take a liking to them.
• During one song, nero played the drums while kony, fakyun, and mary all hit the cymbals and other extra percussion
• For another song, nero took the bass!!
• Another well-known bassist (i should know his name but i forgot!!!) ended up climbing onto the stage to play for us a bit.
• they sang memeshikute again with a big group! maybe this was before the cheers? The people in front of me were actually moving along with their dancing
• Fakyun was made to sing even though she wanted to go back and drink LOL she kept talking about her umeshuu. Kony wanted her to do tequila shots, so she called out [redacted] to make them take one with her. They ended up singing sakuranbo and kony would chant during the chorus to get them to drink?? She ended up taking two of them and then kony gave one to wing! they caleld fakyun so manly~ and she said she was definitely not appearing again on the stage after this
• [redacted] pointed out that there seemed to be quite a few males in the audience and did their usual thing with the crowd
• kony also kept saying mey-chan for some reason, and someone else on stage was like “mary????” but we didn’t really get any clarification because he was so drunk…..
• [redacted] also sang magnet with nori!!!!! he looked so surprised and excited and starstruck when he was called up LOL THEY WERE SO GOOD……. It was a piano-only accompaniment at that point because everyone else had disappeared…. After that was when [redacted] told us that we couldn’t say they sang tonight and everyone was like ok!!!!

Really random bits:

• Nero’s hair was super cute for this event… It was like…. a very relaxed look? He didn’t have his usual middle part!! someone (nori?) kept pointing out how cute he was and he was like “that’s embarrassing~” (cute!!!)
• A lot of them were getting real feelsy with each other as the night went on, probably partially because they needed to support each other so they didn’t trip and fall LOL.
• mary had found herself a spot at the front of the audience instead of on stage LOL, it seemed like she had friends with her!! One of her friends sang a few lines on stage before passing it off to someone else!
• nori and rairu talked about how they knew each other a while back and rairu was like half a head shorter than nori, but now he’s HUGE
• some cleanero fangirls were behind me and got clear to sing fire flower!! it was super fun
• Two people on stage were chanting the pokeball catching sound as someone made their way to the bass and wing played the “captured” jingle when they got to it
• nori and rairu seemed to be on stage a lot?? nori seemed to have his wits about but rairu looked pretty dang drunk to me.
• nori flirted with the audience and all the members a lot??? he kept making cutesy motions and winking and waving. He seemed really popular with the crowd

As it was nearing time to close, only wing, nori, and rairu were left on stage. They tried to find kony for a while and he finally showed up, drunk as hell, and sat down on the chair on stage and looked like he was about to pass out about 75% of the time. rairu finished the drink he was carrying and then mary gave him hers from the audience which he downed immediately. nero also appeared, responsible as ever, and helped with closing!! Kony said it was fine to go until the very last minute (It was supposed to close at 4:00 but the venue was booked til 4:30) because we’d all pick up and leave very quickly, right?? and we all agreed :’) Some people that were still present made some personal announcements, and then kony and nero talked about how they might do something like this again, maybe!! And so, it was the end, and we all picked up and left quickly as per instruction, to catch our morning trains home. 

It was such a crazy and fun experience and I’m really glad I went!! I hope I they do this again sometime~
