2020/01/25 Transition Fest 03

Transition Fest 03 at Club Citta! Performers were Alfakyun, Ikasan, Glutamine, S!N, Zero, Tsukasashi, Nayugorou, NORISTRY, and Yuuku.

✦ we started a bit late!! apparently there was a bit of trouble with the songs so some songs weren't able to be sung? glutan was the one to mention it
✦ club citta is a pretty small venue, but there's a weird part which sticks down pretty low from the ceiling about halfway through, so there was still video of the stage shown on TVs for the back!
✦ they sang a lot of good rock songs, so we got to do a lot of headbanging!! hello dystopia, platonic girl, ghost rule
✦ s!n sang call boy YEAAHHHHHH he was super cool for all his songs!! and for him specifically, a lot of people turned off their penlights to kind of match his usual rock vibe, i think
✦ he looked so comfy LOL he was wearing a big fluffy snood and a sweater
✦ NORISTRY was so cute waahhh he sang a duet with someone (glutamine…?) and moved and danced so much and was absolutely adorable!!
✦ for just one of his solos, he came out wearing some super cute dangly earrings!! it was totally unexpected but he looked very good
✦ nayugorou sang kokoronashi ;0; she also sang beauty and the beast with zero!
✦ her hair was so cute ahhhh it was braided down and back on one side and looked so fancy omfg i loved it a lot
✦ ikasan got us to sing along to her song~
✦ she dueted mousou kanshou daishou renmei with fakkyun and they got us to sing along to that too~
✦ fakkyun started crying near the end of her first solo song ;0; she turned around so we couldn't see, for the entire end instrumental
✦ it seems she lost a lot of her voice…?
✦ as always she was so funny lol she's such a great talker
✦ she told us they can see the audience on the screen backstage, and said that our oshis can see the ugly faces we make LOL
✦ yuuku was good at getting us to cheer~ he sang a lot of really good songs for it
✦ at the end talk, tsukasashi kept playing with nori's gold chain tiered necklace and they said he looks like he could rap
✦ during zero's talk, sin kept looking at the floor and leaping up at random intervals fsr idk why but it was cute and distracting because he's so tiny
✦ nayugorou kept going arigorouuuu because she had nothing else to say
✦ they left tsukasashi til the end because they said it seemed like he's have something nice to say, then during his talk ikasan and fakkyun kept making hooting noises, then nori and glutamine kept motioning for him to go to the middle….. sin stepped up onto the middle platform instead, so tsukasashi stood behind him and pretended he was a puppet as he talked, grabbing a bit of s!n's sweater and moving it around as he talked
✦ tsukasashi asked who would say the last words (there was no encore?) but no one wanted to step up and do it so there was some awkward shuffling until s!n grabbed someone's mic and screamed ALRIGHT THANK YOU GOODBYE (or something along those lines) at us and i nearly jumped out of my skin
✦ we all had a good laugh over it though LOL…. and so the concert finished ended!!
✦ they sold merch (including polaroids) afterwards but i'm poor so i didn't stick around~

2020/01/26 Wolpis Carter One-Man "2019 Wolpis Corp. Annual Shareholder Meeting" Additional Performan

Wolpis Carter's one-man concert at Toyosu PIT! This is an additional performance to the one he had in October 2019. Guests were ke-pon, Harumaki Gohan, SILVANA, and Shoko Nakagawa!




✦ the stage was set up the same as last time, but the banner had the changes "written" over them (20[20] and [additional performance])
✦ the songs were mostly the same! the order was shuffled a little, and a few songs were changed or rearranged
✦ To start, The Story of Wolpis Corp. was shown on the screen. We later found out that ke-pon narrated it! It told us of wolpis' birth (something about him letting out a high voice), the company establishment in 2012 when he was 18 years old, his first one-man live, and the most recent one-man!
✦ The story continued on, saying that he had to lower the keys of all the songs for his concert last time, but this time….?
✦ and with the story ending just like that, he came out to sing the first song!! he was wearing a suit but i don't know if it was the same one as last time…. he did a few solos, and then called out his first guest~ he said he doesn't normally like announcing his guests beforehand because it's not really like a one-man that way, but [i forgot his reason for announcing it this time]
✦ the first guest was ke-pon?! we were expecting him to come out last again as the statue LOL he was painted all green but walked onto the stage normally
✦ they sang two songs: inochi no jutsitia and [I STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO READ THE KANJI FOR THIS] Mime
✦ wolpis doesn't ever really interact much with the audience mid-song to get them to cheer or anything, but ke-pon did lots!! yuri canon's song was very fun because of him (i also just really like that song)
✦ wolpis did get us to cheer Once during the concert and was like “this is rare for me (so appreciate it)”
✦ next was silvana! he also wore a suit~ they sang two songs as well
✦ the guest after that was harumaki gohan! they brought a mic out for him, because he was going to play the guitar for his section~ he was wearing normal clothes, so wolpis asked him why he did that even though he wrote notes to wear a suit, and he made an excuse about how you can't play the guitar while wearing a suit, as we all turned to the band members who were Definitely wearing suits LOL then he quietly went "that was a lie"
✦ they sang three songs! this time, it wasn't hachigatsu no rainy, but reunion! the other two songs, 1% and amako, were songs they also sang last time
✦ harumaki has a nice soft voice that suits his songs….. wolpis sang an entire octave higher than him LOL reunion was especially high
✦ wolpis took a lot of drink breaks, so this time he asked harumaki gohan to stall for a bit and he said like one thing and it was clear he really didn’t have much else to say so he turned back to see if wolpis was done yet LOL…..
✦ like every time there was time to talk wolpis would take a drink and then burp directly into the mic
✦ next was a little skit~ they wheeled out ke-pon statue, who was now in a golden bodysuit, and wolpis came out and ended up talking to us a little instead of starting the skit LOL
✦ he called out his employees, and this time around they were dressed a little more casually and he pointed it out LOL….. one guy had blue hair and one had near orange, the drummer wasn't wearing a suit jacket, and the keyboardist was in a patterned chiffon? shirt
✦ he got them to recite the company's code of conduct, which was slightly different this time, but it wasn't good enough to him so he called out the Teacher…… Shoko Nakagawa!!!! she came out in a white jacket/skirt combo and looked super good!! apparently she came from an event and needed to go to ANOTHER event after this concert
✦ she looked at the employee lineup and said it was NO GOOD!!! and made wolpis stand with them too LOL
✦ she trained them and made them imitate a bunch of cute actions with vigor
✦ she yelled at them a lot, then turned to us and asked us why we were just standing there watching?! do it too!!!!! LOL it was so much fun omg and it was great watching wolpis make cute poses
✦ she passed everyone but wolpis and one other guy and said they had to stay for detention…. in detention, they had to shout out the name of their first love LOOOOL they both did it without mics! wolpis was Kaede; i don't remember the other guy's, but they made him say her last name too i laughed SO HARD
✦ he sang a few more solos after the skit, and then called shoko nakagawa out to sing with him!! he burped into the mic but this time the reaction from the audience was slightly different LMAOOO we were like omfg and he was going NO NO NO IT WAS A MISTAKE
✦ they sang a song they wrote together!! her father was a singer, and left behind some lyrics, which she wanted to make a song out of, and it just so happened that wolpis was the one arranged to help make it, which i think is how they met? She says she loves the song so much! The PV for it was shown on the big screen and it was very colourful and nice…… Afterwards, she bowed dogeza to wolpis, saying she’s really grateful for the song, and he freaked out and was like NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING and also disappeared from sight into his own bow back
✦ They also sang sorairo days~
✦ he complained every chance he got that concerts are really rough on him but like he's always able to bring out his voice so clearly no matter how high the note so i don't understand….. he's definitely not lying though he went through so many bottles of honey water and really looked like he was dying LMAOO
✦ someone shouted about kaede during an MC so he started telling us about how they dated in their first year of junior high, broke up in their second year, and got back together in 3rd year…. then she ended up dating a handsome korean dude or something LOL
✦ apparently one of his childhood friends who knew he dated kaede sometimes goes to his concerts, so he was like “i wonder how this is gonna go, i’ll probably get (send?) some messages later”
✦ the last two songs were dramaturgy and the concert commercial song!
✦ there were lots of calls for ke-pon as he sat there as the statue HAHAHA everyone kept telling him he could take a drink if he wanted and no one was watching!! we turned our lightsticks yellow for him in support for a bit
✦ wolpis told us later that his favourite colour is actually a veerry light pink, so we all changed our lightsticks to that, and he was like YES YES THAT and then reached for one from the audience to show everyone as we were all like OMFG
✦ it was kind of tangled with his plushie that the person was holding, but he was able to pull it free~ then he started sniffing it because of our reactions, and ran it back and forth under his arm…… then he headed for ke-pon with it and ke-pon freaked out and was like NO NO NO THEY’LL GET MAD STOP
✦ when everyone but ke-pon left the stage, staff came out to fix something on the platform he was on? people kept calling him LOL he ended up taking a drink and then finally got us to chant for the encore because everyone just kept focusing on him LOL

Encore
✦ for the encore, wolpis came out without his suit jacket! he called out his guests (minus shoko, who i think had left at that point) and they talked for a bit! silvana had changed into casual clothes
✦ Somehow we got on the topic of Disneyland, so he took a vote of who liked sea and who liked land. wolpis and silvana like sea, and harumaki likes land… he said something about there being no alcohol at disneyland, so i guess thats what he prefers! most of the audience preferred disneysea hahaha wolpis was enthusiastically going YEAH WE’RE THE SAME
✦ they also told ke-pon he could get out of the thing he was sitting in and join them
✦ harumaki and silvana kind of went up to ke-pon to help and harumaki kept going amazing…. hes so bright…… but as they talked he was the farthest to the side of the stage and kept moving farther and farther back while holding his left arm, looking scared, which wolpis made sure to point out and laugh at
✦ wolpis got ke-pon to stand on the drum platform and kept trying to point out his crotch until he got yelled at
✦ they all talked a little bit! ke-pon said that last time he was the last secret guest, but he only sang one song, which he thought was kind of a waste so he thought it’d be nice if he could sing more than one this time and seized the first opportunity to do another LOL
✦ silvana mentioned that he does "a little" work for wolpis, and wolpis was like “it’s not ‘a little’ you do QUITE a bit”
✦ wolpis made an announcement here!! He’s going to have a new album in march!! they showed us the tracklist and it was all originals, with many songs written by the people he really likes
✦ we said goodbye to the guests, and then he sang two acoustic arrangements! the last song was blooming in the mud and it was really, really pretty……….
✦ At the end, the band waved goodbye, and then he remained for a bit, but then was like “okay well i’m going too bye” and just left casually LOL
✦ then suddenly!! there was another announcement on-screen!! Wolpis Carter one-man concerts in tokyo and osaka this year!! I was sad to see that the dates are for when i can’t be in Japan anymore, but it’s cool to see him spreading his wings even more and everyone was very excited to hear the news~
✦ they gave us a flyer to apply for the ticket lottery, which i only later realised was a SUPER advance lottery, with the deadline being at 9:30pm that night…… he also gave us calpis water as a goodbye present again LOL
