2018/08/12 cleanero Birthday One-man Live

tennokoeI went to Cleanero’s Birthday Live at Kawasaki Serbian Night!
I was late for the first performance so i missed the first (two?) song(s) ;-; They were doing MC when I walked in, and Nero was telling the audience to say “omedetou!!!” every time there’s a pause and clear was like, please don’t….
Again I’m bad with songs so I can’t name many but they did sing Summer Memories which was my favourite!!!! They were SO in sync the entire time, and would turn and look at each other a lot for parts where they sang together, I think to time their breaths? BUT ANYWAYS their voices blended sooo well and they sang everything really perfectly I was blown away HAHA.
During the breaks while they drank water, everyone would properly shout “omedetou!!” and we even made clear spittake a little from laughing…. he’d turn to us and tell us we REALLY don’t have to say it and nero’s just like smiling smugly
They talked about a lot of things!! Clear mentions how his voice gives out sooner than it used to, and they discuss this and nero concludes that it’s due to age LOL and clear’s just like ah i see……. They then talk about TOH, where one girl? was asked to tell them how old everyone was, and she guessed 27 for clear!! the audience was like, “oooohhh…..” and clear was like “not ooohh!! i’m young!!!” Then, when she gets to nero, she starts with “thir-” and nero immediately cuts her off like “okay that’s enough thanks” HAHA we all had a big laugh at that… clear says it’s probably the condition of his skin… or possibly that he’s gotten too skinny? Nero stands there pretending to take notes, and then clear brings up that it’s probably because he’s got a ~mature and sexy~ vibe to him and everyone makes sounds of agreement
Another MC part had them talking about how they’d stay up til morning playing smash bros during high school, and how clear moved away from Kumamoto at one point, went back, and then moved to Tokyo, and it looked like fun where he was so nero followed later on!
clear said something about the audience that I didn’t really understand but I think it was something about how amazing the view from the stage always is…. He couldn’t say it properly without sounding weird so he asked nero for help and nero just… flirted with the entire audience LOL
During one of the songs nero gets right in the front of the stage, at the centre, and does some like, seductive dance?? I was too off to the side to see exactly what he was doing but he’s such a dork omg….
They also mentioned they’d like to upload as cleanero again!! I think for next year? I’m really looking forward to that~
For the encore they came back on in matching concert shirts and sang three? more songs! the last one was digitalizer, and they got us all to jump at the very end! And with that, the first performance ends.
In the second performance, the curtains pulled open to reveal nero, dressed in the outfit from the previous performance, and clear in a marilyn monroe t-shirt that was bedazzled with rhinestones…. everyone laughed LOL but it was pretty impressive… nero put the mic to her mouth for a line in the first song. Apparently that shirt costed 10k yen?! He wears it in twitcasts too…. No one was able to compliment it LOL but it was uhhhhh really something
Nero did his set of solos first! He sang Sunset, Suna no Wakusei, and Eien Hanabi! Then, clear returned to the stage and called up masaya, who came onto stage with a chocolate cake!!! clear overexaggerates his happy birthday song, and then after nero blows the candles out he feeds him a piece (it almost drops) but they make it. clear then takes the stage with Moon, Fixer, and Outsider!! He says he prefers it when Nero is on stage with him because then he can sing half the song hahaha. Nero then returns with a vanilla cake and they repeat the same thing with clear!! The candles blew out twice but they got them lit again and quickly took a picture. The birthday song goes on for even longer for some reason LOL they had a lot of fun with it…
They end up talking about conditional surrender somehow? clear says nero sings and dances and imitates some weird moves and nero tells him he doesn’t dance but he has backup dancers and clear says but he does dance some parts!!! and continues dancing weird LOL but he says he’d like to see nero actually dancing and singing again one day… they talk about collabs with orodite and stuff.
They announce(ish) that they want to do a live tour!! Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka?, and Fukuoka if possible! I think it should be around autumn/winterish. Then they talk again about wanting to do a collab upload!
To close, they sing Digitalizer again! There was no encore for this performance ;-; Everyone was like whyyyy but there really wasn’t any time…. they’d go on too long for every single MC portion and the band members started imitating the staff telling them to wrap it up LOL it was very cute….
clear and nero are seriously amazing….. They sing SO well together and you can tell they have such a strong bond :’) It was a really fun time!!
