2019/08/29 ONE UNITY Finale

ONE UNITY’s final show! Performers were anri, shack, kenty, rim, s!n, izu, kanseru, ashikubi, and again!

• I was a little late because I had to get there from work, but they seem to have been delayed so i made it before they actually started!!
• there were like three huge flower stands for ashikubi omfg (it was his first concert appearance ever)
• they handed us a ticket-like slip with the promo illustrations upon entering!
• the illustration was also on the screen at the stage at the start and the very end]

• anri opened with a solo!
• I'm not too familiar with a lot of the performers, so i did a lot of scrambling getting my bearings every time someone came out
• kanseru was very easy to identify though LOL i know him fairly well and I've seen what he looks like
• he’s really huge wow

• there were a lot of screaming songs omg they’re all so metal
• there was a lot of rock in general, it was a fun setlist!
• rim sang sakana tengoku! it seems to be one of his regular songs?
• He talked before he started the song, saying that he'd recently gotten really into drawing!
• he brought out a sketchbook, and it was full of instructions to the audience on how to sing along to his performance
• one page just said 全員パリピ (everyone party) and i laughed real loud at that
• he was really cute and cheerful!!
• s!n came in informing us that he's good-looking and sings well and performs well and [something else]
• He wasn't wrong though
• I had never seen him before despite seeing his name around fairly often, but my idea of how he looked was so different from how he appeared today?! he had short blue hair and looked youthful enough to match all the other young guys in the guestlist, and was pretty small!! (i always thought of him as being a scary looking guy with long black hair LOL but upon later investigation i guess he had changed his style recently)
• During his duet with someone, his shirt was lifted up either by his partner or himself, and he started yelling about his beautiful body
• for his last solo, he parted the audience and ran all the way down the hall?! he's really got some style
• something goes wrong with the lyrics screens that they look at on stage before s!n and kenty's duet, so they have to stall for time
• kenty says he's not even good at MC
• they discuss singing the song without the lyrics for help, but s!n keeps insisting he doesn't know the song well enough, and keeps asking if kenty could really do it without the lyrics
• when it finally gets sorted out and the song starts, we find out that the song was….! koshitantan!!!! a favourite of mine~
• I think this is where kenty tries to do some flirty fanservice with s!n, but s!n kind of dodges him?! and kenty's like, "ohhh??? could it be you're actually bad with this kind of thing???"
• ashikubi appeared quite late into the show!! the lights were dimmed on stage with only a slight blue backlight, turning him into a silhouette so you couldn't really see him
• He said "I'm Ashikubi" and then sang nonsense bungaku!!
• he missed some lines in the beginning and got flustered and apologised ;o;
• he was really good though!! he even screamed!!
• he didn't have any duets but he did one other solo~

• They mentioned how anri cut his hair between the afternoon and night performances!! he seemed to just decide on it suddenly and they were all surprised
• anri asked if there's any 17 year olds in the audience, saw a bunch raise their hands, and whispered "yadaaa~~~"
• He said he started One Unity when he was 17?! and now he's 21!! (THAT'S STILL VERY YOUNG HELLO??)
• they had a camera filming the stage, so it was projected back onto the stage screen during MC
• this just resulted in them playing around with the delay a lot
• the drummer was the one mainly displayed LOL
• I think one of the people playing with it was s!n?

Encore

• Everyone came out to talk except for anri, who was changing! again lead most of the conversation
• almost all of them were wearing again’s t-shirt!! mostly the black one but s!n and izu were wearing the white version
• ashikubi was wearing a pitta mask!
• again asked if it was anyone's first time at one unity and ashikubi very quietly said it's his first live (ever), surprising a lot of the cast!!
• it seemed to have been quite a few peoples' first times at One Unity~
• Anri finished changing and joined then, talking about how it's been four years since he started this concert
• He told us that the last song is dappou rock and they get ready to start, but then the keyboardist started playing Happy Birthday!!
• He's so surprised and immediately starts laughing and crying as the cake is brought out
• They project the camera footage onto the screen again and his crying face is giant
• he really did cry a lot ;v;
• rim started messing around with the camera, making stupid faces, while anri cried
• someone feeds him some cake and it gets on his nose, so they point and laugh at him
• he turns to look at the screen (basically turning away from the camera) and they laugh even harder and call him stupid
• s!n put his mid into his pocket to start dappou rock and they all point it out but he tells them it’ll be fine
• then during the song he was way too busy messing around and missed his line, so they all shout “YOU!!!!!” at him and he just cackled
• they all had so much energy at the end, seriously
• ashikubi was very quiet for the most part
• s!n waved goodbye really weirdly he was like wiggling his fingers
• on one side of the stage, s!n, kenty, and rim laced hands, then again stormed up to them looking jealous so they let him into their circle
• on the other end, shack piggybacked ashikubi and kanseru piggybacked izu and they ran around in circles while laughing
• the two groups converged and they all started jumping around in a circle while cheering wildly while anri stood there watching like ?
• They left the stage in such high spirits!!!

afterwards, i went to check out merch but all of ashikubi's was sold out ;-; I decided to try my luck at the badge kuji and actually got him and kanseru!
