tennokoeIt’s a very small venue! On entering, they asked me whether I would be getting jack’s badges and I was like y-yes…!???! One keyboardist and one guitarist and asamaru in the middle, with his laptop set up in front of him. The keyboardist had a skeleton plush puppet from daiso’s Halloween stuff on his mic, it was very cute and was a talking point at several points during the live.
He started the live with I love you, I need you! I don’t remember what else…. But he did sing Lemon, which he said was a request from jack. He also sang the Anpanman song and a few other kids’ anime songs? Asamaru said that he can play Anpanman very fast bc he plays it for his niece a lot. Then, he took out the ukulele and he and the guitarist showed us that they somehow happened to buy the same one! He had taken it out one time to practise and asamaru was like ?!?!?!? why do you have my uke…. Turns out they were legit the same ones, but somehow asamaru paid a lot more for his hahahaha. They played a few of the songs they had done already.
He brought the pointfive costume he had tweeted about and people told him to put it on, so he reluctantly got up and turned around to take off his shirt (wearing a striped tshirt underneath) and put the jacket on…. People were going all zawa zawa saying he’s so thin and he was like, you know I have a complex right,, but he really was thin….. they called him cute. There’s one girl that was sitting in front who bantered with him a lot, they seemed pretty familiar! Anyways he finally put it on and turned around and seemed pretty embarrassed but there was this joyous intake of breath from everyone…. We were so excited lol. He took it off pretty quickly though.
They played a few more songs and then somehow unko came up? I guess he might’ve been talking about last uploads? And the guitarist hadn’t heard of it before so he showed him and then they…. Played it.
After it was over, they asked us to step outside so they could set up merch. Asamaru came out for a smoke (he’s got like a weird contraption to hold his cigarettes? It looks almost like a vape but def smelled like tobacco) and talked to a bunch of people who were waiting. Lining up inside, there was the band members’ cds and stuff, jack’s at 500yen each, and then cards you could buy with utaren’s info on it, which asamaru then signed at the end. He also had a hanko stamp, so they said if you had some spare paper he’d stamp it. I got him to stamp it on my notebook paper and he said it’d look sad like that by itself so he signed it as well! He shook my hand and thanked me for coming, and right before I left I told him that I’m a fan from Canada and he seemed pretty surprised! He took time to talk to everyone and it was very sweet…. He seemed shaky himself hahaha
